The entire floor of Princess Leilan’s underwater ballroom was covered in a thick layer of sand (seventeen tons-worth), above which congregated the most fantastically perplexing group of creatures of the untold Hawaiian seas.
The arms of giant octopus pulsated in the tide, as they swam a hypnotizing dance on stage. Schools of oversized clownfish seemed to float overhead, and the most curious fish of all - acrobats wearing fish costumes, suspended from the ceiling by means of mechanical hoists - performed bizarre, beautiful dances among the clownish overhead.
Strands of seaweed, lavender smoke, and snow jewel chiffon regressed down from the ceiling, gracing the ocean floor, where living seaweed dancers dressed in pristine, luminescent costumes danced with the chiffon in peculiar movements. In between each course, dancers in stunning costumes performed breathtakingly originative dance routines, which combined elements of modern dance and ballet, as the amazed guests enjoyed the gourmet dining and world-class entertainment in underwater splendor.
Majestic watercolor backdrops surrounding the entire room and magical lighting techniques, as well as unique underwater centerpieces sitting atop shimmering “fish scale” table coverings, provided a truly magnificent setting for the evening.
